Fast-growing internet software company seeks Perl developers to join their Agile development team in their central London office. The company has helped over 1.5 million customers with their market leading web software.

You will work in a dynamic mixed skill development team, using Scrum to deliver new product features every 4-6 weeks under the direction of the CTO. You will be comfortable using different technologies/languages as necessary to meet overall team objectives, though remain an expert in your area of experience. For senior candidates you will have the opportunity to lead development cycles, provide creative solutions to challenging problems, and integrate with other industry leading products/services via API (e.g. Facebook Connect, OAuth, eBay, etc.).

The successful candidates will have a solid understanding of object oriented programming and a familiarity with web frameworks, 1 or more years as an OO Perl developer, with a degree/or equivalent in computer science. Experience of NoSQL datastores and ecommerce/billing systems would be a bonus. Working knowledge of Linux, Apache and Sybase would be helpful, though there are no sysadmin responsibilities in this role.
